What is KAP?
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an experiential therapeutic approach that combines prescribed ketamine with psychotherapy in a concurrent session to support deeper access to thoughts, emotions, sensations, and patterns that may be difficult to reach through talk therapy alone.
Rather than ketamine doing all the healing, it can create conditions to process deep emotional pain with greater psychological and emotional flexibility. The therapeutic relationship provides a grounded safe space to explore and integrate material that emerges during the experience.

KAP May Help With
Depression
When heaviness, numbness, anhedonia, self criticism, low energy, and fatigue have made it difficult to feel like yourself.
Anxiety
Your mind and body feel stuck in a cycle of excessive worry, vigilance, tension and overwhelm.
Trauma
Past overwhelming experiences continue to impact and shape your relationships, sense of self, and how you move through the world today.
Emotional Stuckness
You understand yourself intellectually but deep inside something still isn't shifting. This may manifest as numbness or feeling fearful of change, despite parts of you wanting deeply desiring that change.
Existenial Distress
Psychological, emotional, and spiritual pain that arises when questioning meaning, purpose, identity, and value of life. This may leave you feeling disconnected uncertain or caught in questions of what it means to be human.
OCD
When intrusive thoughts, avoidance, uncertainty, rigidity, and compulsions begin to take up more time and begin to limit your life. KAP may offer relief.
