Frequently Asked Questions

What issues do you specialize in? I support clients navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and trauma. I also work with individuals who are seeking deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, psychedelic support, and more authentic ways of relating to themselves and others.
Who do you work with? I work with adult individuals. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, LGBTQIA+, and lived experiences. I honor the many ways people seek healing and growth.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions? I offer both.
What can I expect in the first session? The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, any relevant history, and what you’d like to experience or change. The first session is also a chance for both you and I to assess if I am a good fit for you with what you are seeking support for.
How often do we meet and for how long? Sessions are typically 50 minutes and are held weekly or biweekly depending on your needs, availability, and treatment goals. Frequency can be adjusted over time as progress builds.
What are your fees and payment options? My session fee is $175 Â per 50-minute session. Payment is due at the time of service and I accept credit/debit/HSA/FSA cards. If cost is a barrier, please reach out accessibility matters to me and I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots.
Do you accept insurance? I currently am in network with Aetna. Otherwise, I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill other insurances directly. However, many clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits. I can provide monthly superbills that you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Who would be better supported by another provider? I am not a good fit for clients with active substance use disorders or for individuals experiencing persistent and serious suicidal thoughts. It's not that I am afraid of those parts or the pain that drives them, it is because my practice is solo and I don't have the crisis availability required to safely support these situations.
How do I get started? I am taking new clients! You are welcome to schedule a consultation call or request an appointment by contacting me through the website. From there, I’ll guide you through the intake process, next steps and scheduling your first session.
