A little bit about me...
My education and clinical trainings are listed below.
But, if what you really want to know is who is the human that will be sitting across from me?...you're in the right place :)
I at my core identify as a human. I am a many things: woman, veteran, advocate, activist, first gen, and millennial. I don't have it all figured out, however my education and training has helped me with being human and creating a life worth living more doable. I am in a long term partnership and I have two furballs that are my world: a 90lb lapdog and a chonky 20lb lynx cat. My family mentioned above are very important to me. I value community and my friendships as well as being an active community member and engaged friend. I love live music, trying new food spots around town, hiking with my pups, drinking americano’s with half and half or as of recently-sage lattes, and honestly spending time trying not to kill my house plants. Which, let's be real I do from time to time. R.I.P.
I am a big believer that being in relationships that are good enough can provide corrective and reparative experiences that support our transformation on a multidimensional level. I bring that ethos into the therapy room and operate from that place. Being human, I will NOT get it right all the time in our work together however, I am available for repair as that is deeply important to me and I welcome open communication. Together, my hopes are that we can co-create a therapeutic relationship to take healthy risks, try new skills, and me be a touchstone to support you in your becoming.
I don’t place myself outside the therapy process. Being actively engaged in both group and individual therapy keeps me connected to the humility, courage, discomfort, and tenderness this work asks of us. Alongside that, I continue to invest in my learning through trainings, consultation, and professional community as an ongoing commitment to depth and integrity.
Living this work from the inside has given me a real respect for how vulnerable and confronting this process is and how powerful and liberating meaningful shifts can feel.
If you’re feeling curious about working together, or simply want to sense into whether I may feel like a good fit, you’re welcome to schedule a brief, no-pressure consultation call. I’d be glad to connect!
