Welcome
Hi! I'm Heather Panozzo, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist. Browsing my page is already a solid step towards change. I'm glad that you're here.

I work with adults who feel stuck in familiar patterns: overthinking, shutting down, burning out, or losing themselves in relationships. Many of my clients are high-achieving and self-aware. From the outside things work and their life looks great on paper. Inside, something feels off and disconnected.
They come to therapy wanting to feel:
-
more present in their bodies
-
more grounded in their choices
-
more authentic in relationships
-
more connected to their own aliveness
-
Less performing; more connection
You’ll likely resonate here if you’re curious, reflective, and ready for depth oriented work. This practice is best suited for adults beyond crisis stabilization who want more than symptom management. You want insight. You want growth. You want meaningful change. You want to shake off that feeling like something is missing.
In our work, you’ll learn to:
-
stay connected to others without turning on yourself
-
recognize when you’re performing for connection
-
relax the parts of you that learned to earn love
-
remain steady in real-time conflict or intimacy instead of avoiding or reactivity
Our work creates space to understand what you’re feeling, why you react the way you do, and how to hold onto your needs, boundaries, and voice in real time. Especially in the moments that matter most to you.
I’m especially drawn to supporting adults who don’t fit neatly into boxes in identity, partnership, desire or expression. Complexity is welcome here. I am a LGBTQIA2S+ ally and ENM aware clinician.
If this resonates, I’d be glad to connect with you for a free consultation call!

**NOTE**
My role isn’t to give you advice or tell you what to do. Instead, I help you cultivate the clarity and internal authority to know what is true and best for you.
I will be by your side consistently as we come to understand you more deeply. This often happens at the edges of your comfort zone and sometimes trends into the unknown. As Joseph Campbell wrote,
“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.”
Psychotherapy is a process and it is important to manage expectations that results may not be immediate. Real change takes time, patience, and a willingness to meet the parts of yourself you haven’t yet met as you become someone you haven’t yet been. It is important to name that often progress is non-linear which is normal and natural. We move at a pace that honors your nervous system and capacity.
